In the name of God Amen I Thomas LEWIS of Upton in the Parish of Bitton, County of Gloucester, ^Butcher^ do make this my last will and Testament as follows
To my Uncle George HANNEY of Pensford in the County of Somerset I do give devise & bequeath all my rights and interest in the Copyhold House & premises that I hold in the pisbes? & als? manor of Bitton situate at Upton In Trust to permit? My dear wife Mary Ann 1 ? & take the Trusts & profits thereof during her life if she lives in which I hold this same shale and live her) Provided she continues my Widow, and after her decease or marriage again In Trust for the use & benefits of each living of my Children that shall be then living share & share alike
And as ?? the s? of my property ? & ??^both real & personal^ I do give & bequeath to same to my dear wife Mary Ann, out of which she is to pay my Personal Expenses and debts
And I do constitute & appoint my dear wife Mary Ann sole Executrix of this my last will & Testament
